Jim Kennedy

Owner/Fabricator

Jim joined the Pipefitters Local Union 211 in 1977. Through this union, he completed a four-year pipefitter's apprenticeship in 1981. Jim also taught drafting at the union school upon completion of his apprenticeship. He took a position with Southwest Fabricating and Welding Co. in 1978, serving as a dimensional verifier and weld inspector. At the time, Southwest Fabricating was the largest fabricator of nuclear piping in the world.

Jim left Southwest Fabricating in 1983 to open Quality Ornamental Iron and business has been going strong ever since.
